Patrick attended Georgetown University on a full academic scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Patrick spent several years teaching Chemistry and Physics at Loyola High School in Los Angeles. He next honed his selling skills with multiple companies in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries where he consistently exceeded sales goals. In 1992, Patrick became the V.P. of Marketing and Sales at Field Controls where he directed new product development, guided advertising, and implemented promotional programs to increase sales. On the job success led him to be promoted to President in 1994. Since that time, Field Controls has grown from a specialty damper manufacturer to a recognized HVAC industry leader in Air Movement and Air Treatment.
The company maintains a robust product planning and development process which has helped it grow significantly in size and scope. Field Controls manufactures within a total quality management system and is ISO certified.
