Media Air Cleaner, Air Filter For Home, and Air Filtering

Field Controls FCRA11 Model Right Angle Cabinet

Field Controls Media Air Cleaner is a whole house air filtration system that offers maximum indoor air cleaning and air filtering capacity. Field Controls Media Air Cleaners install in the return duct of virtually any forced air heating or cooling system…gas, oil, or electric. As air flows through the system, the Media Air Cleaner traps particles as small as 1.0 micron (1.0 micron = .000039 inches), including pollen, dust, and dander.

Our Media Air Cleaners feature a high quality, powder coated finish metal cabinet which is durable and attractive. Our HeavySeal design provides a super tight envelope with no leakage around the filter or out of the ductwork. Our FCRA11 model Right Angle Media Air Cleaner is designed to save space in vertical installations and reduces installation space by 6 to 8 inches. It also eliminates the need for a 90-degree duct adapter. Helps to protect and prolong the operating efficiency of the heating and cooling equipment. Equipped with a MERV 8 or MERV 11 media air cleaner filter.

Field Controls MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) pleated media filter contains enough air cleaning capacity to clean air for months without restricting air flow or putting a strain on the air handling system. Our filter media is electrostatically “supercharged” for better efficiency and longer service life. It is moisture resistant and will not support the growth of bacteria or other microbes. Meets ANSI/ASHRAE 52.2 standards.

What is MERV? Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value, also known as MERV rating, is a measurement scale designed to represent the expected performance of an indoor air filter when trapping particles in the size range of 0.3 to 10 microns. The MERV rating is from 1 to 16. Higher MERV ratings correspond to a greater percentage of particles captured on each pass, with a MERV 13 filter capturing more than 93.7% of particles over the full range.
