Limited Warranty
Field Controls LLC products are sold in the United States through a network of authorized dealers selected by Field Controls. Field Controls dealers have been chosen for their ability to properly represent, sell and service Field Controls products. Field Controls provides a warranty on products sold only by our authorized dealers.
Unfortunately, Field Controls products are sometimes sold by companies that are not authorized to do so. Goods sold by these unauthorized companies are not purchased from Field Controls; instead they are acquired from a host of other sources. Due to the nature of the goods sold by unauthorized dealers and their business practices, products sold by unauthorized dealers are not entitled to Field Controls warranty coverage. We are using our best efforts (including this warning) to prohibit these companies from taking advantage of contractors and consumers, but these practices still exist. We urge you to use diligence when selecting a dealer to make your purchase.
Field Controls, LLC (“Company”) warrants that its products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for the limited period indicated, from the date of installation, subject to the provisions 1-8 below.

Provisions:
1. During the warranty period, all defective Product returns must be processed through our standard return procedure. Call customer service at 252-522-3031 to obtain an RMA# and fill out a Warranty Claim Form. The Product must be returned with the Warranty Claim Form completed and postage prepaid, to our Quality Department for evaluation. The customer must submit a new purchase order for the replacement Product. Once the defect is validated by Quality, a credit will be issued for the returned Product.
2. Warranty claims for UV lamps/bulbs require the customer to provide a “valid proof of purchase” (sales receipt) identifying the Product model and the date the Product was purchased in addition to the Warranty Claim Form.
3. Warranty claims for ERV/HRV cores must provide maintenance records proving that the maintenance schedule was maintained per user manual.
4. Product that has been subjected to misuse, accident, shipping or other physical damage, improper installation or application, abnormal operation or handling, neglect, fire, water or other liquid intrusion are not covered by the warranty.
5. Product whose warranty/quality stickers, Product serial number plates or electronic serial numbers have been removed, altered, or rendered illegible shall not be covered under the limited warranty.
6. Company makes no warranty of any kind for other manufacturer’s products distributed by Company. Company will pass on all warranties made by the manufacturer and where possible, will expedite the claim on behalf of the customer, but ultimately, responsibility for disposition of the warranty claim lies with the manufacturer.
7. IN NO EVENT SHALL COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SIMILAR DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE, INABILITY TO USE PRODUCT, OR OTHER ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT, THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE EQUIPMENT, AND CLAIMS BY THIRD PARTIES) RESULTING FROM THE USE OF PRODUCT. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
8. THIS WARRANTY AND REMEDIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND SUPERSEDE ANY EARLIER VERSIONS OR REPRESENTATIONS, AND EXISTS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, EXPRESS, STATUTORY, OR IMPLIED. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
