How the Air Quality Sensor Works

The Edge Gateway is installed and connected to the economizer or rooftop handler through WiFi. An Airbox is installed in every room to monitor that space’s unique, localized air quality. The sensor connects to the HVAC system, portable air purifiers, in-duct air purifiers, thermostats, window actuators, and other IAQ equipment. The sensors detect changes in the environment, including occupation or air quality, and then ventilate or operate air quality equipment as necessary to save electricity while maintaining a healthy environment. The WelSpace solution seamlessly integrates ventilation, filtration, and disinfection systems by constantly monitoring PM2.5, CO2, TVOC, HCHO, temperature, humidity, AQI, ACH, and IRI in every room. The dashboard allows you to control an entire building floor plan automatically or on a schedule, saving energy, costs, and time
