Field Controls Twiggy Model Air Filter Cabinets are similar to Trion Air Bear Cub Cabinet. It is a whole house air filtration system that offers maximum indoor air cleaning and air filtering capacity. Twiggy is similar to the Trion Air Bear Cub.
Field Controls Media Air Cleaners install in the return duct of virtually any forced air heating or cooling system–gas, oil, or electric. As air flows through the system, the Media Air Cleaner traps particles as small as 1.0 micron (1.0 micron = .000039 inches), including pollen, dust, and dander. Like Air Bear filters, Field Controls replacement media air filters capture and hold pollutants inside the filter, allowing air to flow freely through the system with minimal back pressure.
Our Twiggy Air Filter Cabinets are available with high efficiency MERV 8 or 11 media filters that feature depth loading to capture larger particles on the surface and smaller particles deeper within the media. This allows the filter to last longer and minimize pressure drop. The media is also electrostatically charged for better efficiency and hydrophobic moisture resistance. Our hydrophobic, depth loading filters inhibit the growth of bacteria or other microbes. Field Controls Media Air Cleaners are built to clean indoor air for months. Replacing filters is fast and simple.

What is MERV? Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value, also known as MERV rating, is a measurement scale designed to represent the expected performance of an indoor air filter when trapping particles in the range of 0.3 to 10 microns. The MERV rating is from 1 to 16. Higher MERV ratings correspond to a greater percentage of particles captured on each pass, with a MERV 16 filter capturing more than 95% of particles over the full range. Field Controls offers Media Air Cleaners with MERV 8, MERV 11, and MERV 13 ratings.
