HOW COMBUSTION AIR SYSTEMS WORK
Combustion air kits and air inlet systems are installed to bring outdoor air into the combustion zone or mechanical room. When the burner calls for heat, the system delivers a measured amount of air. When airflow is established, the pressure switch closes. The CAS sends a signal to the appliance, allowing the burner to fire.
