• FLEX-1 are direct replacement for Skuttle air filters. Like Skuttle air filters, FLEX-1 replacement media features high efficiency MERV 11 filter media. Compared to MERV 8 filter media, MERV 11 filters offer filtration of finer airborne pollutants to protect against allergies and asthma symptoms.
• FLEX-1 also replaces Trion Air Bear filters. Like Trion air filters, FLEX-1 filters are charged-media air filters for whole house air filtering that effectively captures large and small airborne pollutants with a MERV 11 filter. When you think Airbear filters, think FlexFilter.

What is MERV rating? Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value, also known as MERV rating, is a measurement scale designed to represent the expected performance of an indoor air filter when trapping particles in the range of 0.3 to 10 microns. The MERV rating is from 1 to 16. Higher MERV ratings correspond to a greater percentage of particles captured on each pass, with a MERV 16 filter capturing more than 95% of particles over the full range.
