FEATURES OF THE FLEX FILTER 7.5 MERV 13 REPLACEMENT FILTER FOR APRILAIRE FILTERS
The patented FlexFilter is an ultra compact, easy-to-assemble media air cleaner that replaces over 40 of the most popular filter models.
Our FlexFilter is designed to replace nearly all major brand filters, so there’s no need to hunt down a specific manufacturer’s filter. Plus, most FlexFilters can be adjusted to fit two different sizes, making it like having two filters in one. These filters are shipped collapsed and come shrink-wrapped with a disposal bag for easy replacement of the old filter.
Compatible with aprilaire filters
Our Flex-5, Flex-5.5, Flex-6.5, Flex-7, and Flex-7.5 are direct replacements for Aprilaire media air filters and are color-coded blue for quick and easy identification:
- FLEX-5 (20 x 25 x 4): Fits Aprilaire air cleaner models 2200 and 2120, replacing Aprilaire filter model 201.
- FLEX-5.5 (20 x 25 x 4): Fits Aprilaire air cleaner models 1210, 2210, 3210, 4200, 1213, and 2120, replacing Aprilaire filter models 210 and 213.
- FLEX-6.5 (19 x 20 x 4): Fits Aprilaire air cleaner models 1310, 2310, 3310, and 4300, replacing Aprilaire filter models 310 and 313.
- FLEX-7 (16 x 28 x 4): Fits Aprilaire air cleaner models 1410, 2410, 3410, 4400, 1413, and 2140, replacing Aprilaire filter model 401.
- FLEX-7.5 (16 x 28 x 4): Fits Aprilaire air cleaner models 1410, 2410, 3410, 4400, 1413, and 2140, replacing Aprilaire filter models 410 and 413.
Understanding MERV Ratings
MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) is a scale that measures the effectiveness of air filters in capturing particles between 0.3 to 10 microns. The MERV scale ranges from 1 to 16, with higher numbers indicating better filtration. For example, a MERV 16 filter captures over 95% of particles.
