Field Controls is Winner in ACHR NEWS 2015 Dealer Design Awards
(Kinston, NC) – Field Controls was recognized for excellence in product design in the 12th annual Dealer Design Awards Program sponsored by The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration NEWS. An independent panel of contractors acted as judges in the contest that had 107 entries. Fields’ Enthalpy Sensor was the Silver Award Winner in the Ventilation Products category and the Cube™ was the Silver Award Winner in the Indoor Air Quality category. The NEWS is the leading trade magazine in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration industries.
The NEWS Publisher Mike Murphy stated, “These awards give us a unique opportunity to recognize the outstanding research and development efforts that go into many of the products serving the HVACR industry and the awards issue gives our readers an opportunity to read about innovative installation and service solutions.”

Field Controls President Patrick Holleran commented, “We are honored to be recognized with Dealer Design Awards in both of these categories. Our Enthalpy Sensor detects when the outside air is too hot, too cold, or too humid and prevents the fresh air damper from opening. The Cube is a multi-stage treatment designed for any environment where harmful odors, volatile organic compounds, viruses or other airborne contaminants are a concern. It effectively and efficiently cleans the air in a single pass for systems up to 6.0 tons.”
Winning entries in the Dealer Design Awards were featured in the July 20, 2015 issue of The NEWS, which is distributed nationally to over 33,000 HVACR contractors, wholesalers, and other industry professionals.
Field Controls leads the way in manufacturing diverse and innovative air movement, air control, and air quality products for improving indoor environments.
