Field Introduces New Sensors for Fresh Air Control Better Control in Any Environment
(Kinston, NC) – Field Controls has developed four new accessories to automatically provide more control over fresh air ventilation depending on conditions inside and outside the home. The new sensors interface with the Healthy Home System Control and work independently or in concert to monitor environmental changes, providing increased or decreased ventilation as needed.
T-Sensor, C-Sensor, E-Sensor, & P-Sensor
The Temperature Sensor closes the Fresh Air Damper to prevent air from being pulled into the home when outdoor conditions are too hot or too cold. The Current Sensor reacts to the operation of airexhausting devices such as range hoods, clothes dryers, and bath fans to provide make up air as
needed. The Enthalpy Sensor prevents air from coming in based on humidity and/or temperature. The Pressure Sensor senses operation of an exhausting device by sensing duct pressure (positive or negative).
Each sensor is contractor-installed and can be customized to satisfy the needs of the home and the homeowner. Working in concert with the Healthy Home System Control, the contractor has complete control over air changes and air quality.
Field Controls’ Healthy Home System™ is an affordable, customizable indoor air quality system that integrates into existing forced air ductwork. For more information on the Healthy Home IAQ System, visit www.fieldcontrols.com or call 252.522.3031.
