New Media Filter Cabinet Designed for HERS test

(Kinston, NC) – Field Controls has developed a new HeavySeal™ filter cabinet to solve a problem common to industry…leakage. Most filter cabinet doors do not create a tight seal and allow a certain amount of air leakage through the doors when the central fan is engaged. Generally this is not a problem, unless the contractor is working to pass the HERS (High Efficiency Rating System) Test. The HERS test requires a tight system with a minimum pressure differential after the filter. The HeavySeal housing is designed to create a super-tight envelope focusing air to and through the filter. There are models to accommodate the most popular media filter cartridges on the market.
